Manchester City and U EFA has held bilateral talks following the CAS decision, in order to achieve a kind of peace between the two sides following disagreements on rules of financial honesty.
Manchester City will play in next season's Champions League after the Court of Arbitrazhi Sports (CAS) has abolished the two-year suspension of European football for the English club.
U n EFA sentenced Man City to two years of suspension from European races in February of this year for serious violations of the rules for financial honesty (FFP). The Premierliga club had consistently and sharply denied the charges, and last month decided to complain to the CAS sentence.
After a hearing session lasting three days in June, the CAS has now decided to lift the sentence of blues. This means that City will be free to participate in the Champions League next season, while the penalty of 30m euros has been reduced to 10m euros.
Following this decision by the CAS, the head of Manchester City, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, initiated a conversation with U president EFA, Akexander Ceferin, in an attempt to achieve peace between the two sides after the conflict.
This conversation between the two sides went well, reports DailyMail, and both leaders agreed to improve future co-operation to create a more peaceful situation for both sides.
