Benzema accused of blackmail, wanted to appear in court

The French striker of Real Madrid, Karim Benzema, is in trouble, as he is being accused of blackmail.

Versailles' prosecutor has demanded that Benzema appear in court over charges of blackmailing his former associate, Matheu Valbuena.

Benesema allegedly influenced Valbuena to pay for the demands of people who had a video with its sexual content.

The prosecutor has also asked Karim Zenati, Benzema's old friend, to appear in court.
