Quique Setien will be the coach of Barcelona and the new edition of Camp Nou, so confirmed Josep Maria Bartholomew.
Reports from Spain in recent weeks speculated that the coach would be fired at the end of the edition, as he is failing to win La Ligan.
Sethieen replaced Ernesto Valverden in January, but now there are four points behind Real Madrid in the title race.
“Quique Setien will head the team for the challenge of the Champions League to Naples”, Bartholomew has told TV3.
The goal is to keep him coaching the new edition, but we'll try to respect the contract by the end of”, he added further.
Diario Sport reported earlier this month that Sethien has no future in Barcelona and will be downloaded for completion of this edition.
According to Catalan media, Xavi Hernandez is seen as his replacement, but Ronald Coeman is not exempt either.
