“Made in America” will not be held this year, Jay-Z representatives have announced.
The annual festival, organised by the famous rapper company “Live Nation”, has been cancelled due to the coronary pandemic, but not alone.
We're having a very important moment in our country's history. Together we are fighting parallel pandemics, Coddy-19, systematic racism and police violence. Now is the time to protect the health of our artists, fans, partners and communities, as well as focus on our support for organisations and individuals fighting for social justice and equality in the country,” announces organisers through a Twitter post.
The 50-year-old concert was expected to be held on September 5th and 6th in Philadelphia, but as never before was postponed for 2021.
While everyone is trying to get back to normal, Jay-Z made this unexpected decision that upset fans.
“Live Nation” focused more on live and tour music, according to Billboard, provides Beyonce's husband with a $1.5m profit for the show. /tch
