In the last 24 hours in Albania, there have been 108 new cases with Covid-19, 3 loss of life and 60 recovered.

This information has revealed to the Ministry of Health, which has reminded all citizens of the necessity to enforce the rules, establish the mask, maintain distance and personal and collective hygiene.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection is directed to citizens to place the mask on closed premises, because it is an extremely efficient measure to curb the spread of the infection and therefore, reduce hospital admissions and fatalities from COVID19.

We inform you of the epidemiological situation in the country in the last 24 hours.

Three citizens have failed to win the battle with the disease, a 77-year-old and 83-year-old Tirana with co-operative diseases and a 68-year-old from Hasi without other diseases.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to family members.

There is come to be increased hospital admissions, despite those who have left two COVID hospitals in the last 24 hours.

Currently at Infective Hospital and Hospital “Chiefs Rudoku” are treating 126 patients, 22 are in intensive therapy, and 12 patients are involved.

Over the last 24 hours 477 tests have been conducted for suspects affected by COVID19, of which 108 positive cases have been confirmed.

The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 49 cases in Tirana -- out of 11 cases in Durres, Kavaja, 9 in Fier, 7 in Shkodra, out of 3 cases in Kruja, Kurbin, Tropoja, Berat, Malakaster, 2 in Pristina, from 1 case in Korca, Vlora, Tepelene, Shijak.

During the last 24 hours, 60 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 2523 since the beginning of the epidemic.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reminds all citizens of the necessity to enforce the rules: For setting the mask, maintaining distance and personal and collective hygiene. Avoid any collection, as they are dangerous to the spread of infection.
