Women's war: Vardy's sues the wife of legend Rooney

Coleen Rooney, wife of England legend Wayne Rooney, had charged Rebecca Vardy, wife of Leicester City and England Jamie, with sending information from her private account to the Instagram.

Cole had blocked all accounts except one from seeing his own account in an effort to find out who was selling information to the British painter from her private account.

I've posted a series of false stories in recent months to see if they would be sold in Sun. And you know what? They're sold out! The gender selection story in Mexico, the one for return to TV, and the most recent for flooding into the basement of my new house”, she wrote.

It's been difficult to keep this to myself and not comment, knowing that private information was stolen from me, but I had to. Now I know for sure which account was stolen. I have preserved and photographed all the original stories that clearly indicate that only one person has seen them: the account... Rebecca Vardy”

In a reaction, Vardy had said she had never talked to reporters about Rooney, though many of them had called her.

She even suggested that her account password in the Instagram may have been stolen: “if you thought this could have happened to you, you could have told me and I could have changed my password to see if this would have stopped”.

This whole scandal had become viral on social networks, and now Vardy has filed a legal lawsuit for slandering Rooney.

The date has not yet been set for when court hearings will be held in this case, however, British media report that the two sides can reach agreement to resolve the problem outside the courts.
