Vucic said at the meeting with Lavrov that for finding a solution to the conflict with Kosovo, Russian consensus is needed. While Lavrov confirmed that he has full confidence in the mediation of dialogue by the EU, but urged Pristina to implement the agreements reached in Brussels.
“We will support every step and initiative that will help Belgrade and Pristina reach a mutual and acceptable solution based on Resolution 1244”, the Russian Foreign Minister said after meeting with Vucic.
He also added that the agreement between the two countries should ensure peace and security in this region of Europe.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic donated Lavrov a guitar for his 70th birthday.
