Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has reacted immediately after publicising the government's decision to lift reciprocity measures against Serbia.
According to him, this means removing all barriers Serbia has so far used as a pretext for blocking dialogue.
President Thaci says international pressure must be directed towards Serbia in order for dialogue to resume without delay and end with mutual recognition among states.
That's his full response:
I welcome today's decision by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to remove all barriers, which Serbia has so far used as a pretext for blocking dialogue to normalise interstate relations between the state of Kosovo and Serbia. International pressure must now be directed by Serbia in order to immediately resume dialogue, which must end with mutual recognition between the two states. HTH.
