Kosovo and Albania are important to help each other, following the losses both countries suffered during the pandemic. Citizens of Albania and Kosovo should exploit the beauty these two countries have, so that the tourism sector is resurrected.
So says Albanian Tourism and Environment Minister Blendi Klosi, until he adds that Kosovo and Albania must co-ordinate 12 months of tourism.
“Tourism we need to understand is an extraordinary bridge of co-operation between problematic and developments on both sides of the mountains. But if we agreed today with colleagues Krasniqi, it is possible to see the sea as the sea of all Albania, it is not Albania's only sea, it is all Albanian. But, much more Albanian tourists visit the beauty that Kosovo has, especially in winter tourism, and therefore create a cycle even through tourist companies to co-ordinate in 12 months of tourism in Albania and in Kosovo”, Klosi said.
The tourism minister says the tourism sector has been almost the most hit by the pandemic that affected the whole world in recent months.
He stressed that this sector should be helped to stay on foot during the inauguration of the Hotel “
During these three months of pandemic we did not back down, but we continued promoting Albania, promoting tourism. And also help this sector to stand. Today we are not on our knees, but by the time everyone is attracted to business in Vlora it is still invested in new hotels, new facilities, there are requirements, there is business. But the pandemic hit it a lot”, Klosi added.
Klosi called for Albanians to take holidays in Kosovo and Albania to recover the economy and tourism sector.
The same call went to Vlora Mayor Dritan Leli, who, among other things, said the Albanian coast should be a tourist destination this summer.
Friday evening the hotel “The Blue” is inaugurated in Vlora. The hotel, which since 2006 is a destination for Kosovars. For this and summer season tourist agency “Fibula Travel”, will have good offers for all southern vacationers.
