A group of Belgium-computer scientists claim they have found the final formula to determine who the best player is.

Sporza In Belgium, reports that they have joined Dutch data experts SciSports to come up with something called assessment actions from the (VAEP) War Problems Rating, which apparently can solve the Messi vs Ronaldo debate.

The formula takes into account the overall players' matches and also takes into account their contributions to both offensive and defensive roles.

A footballer's “Vlera is often determined by goals and assistt”, Jesse Davis, a university professor, said. “A goal is, however, a rare event, because an average of 1,600 actions are estimated to occur in a match”.
