After a fine season in Serie A, Marash Cubilla is a hot name for the transfer market.
It is Lazio who has taken concrete steps to close an agreement on the transfer of Albanian defenders.
Lazio's sports director, Igli Tare, has met with Hellas Verona's president, Maurizio Setti, reports Gianluca di Marzio.
The Benoclesti has reached agreement with the player, offering him a five-year contract of 1.5m euros.
Lazio has also offered Verona 26m to 27m euros, including bonuses and any potential player.
Both clubs have yet to negotiate a deal, and will be meetings in the future, for the protector born in 2000.
Also interested are Inter and Juventus.
