Spanish-brasian attacker of Atlético Madrid, Diego Costa, has signed this Thursday the pact with the Madrid Prosecutor to avoid prison while charged with fiscal crime, tax fraud. More specifically, he is accused of not paying more than half a million euros in the 2014 income mirror.
He has ratified the agreement with justice bodies, while paying 36,000 euros to replace the six months of prison, which he was asked to do. The deal was reached between the football lawyer and the prosecutor. Given that he has already paid 1.1m euros, this new agreement was reached. Also, Diego Costa must pay a fine of 507.208 euros for the amount of fraud.
The prosecutor initially sought in his indictment six months in prison for a crime against the Treasury. Costa went to Madrid's Providence Court headquarters this morning, accompanied by his lawyers. The trial was held for several minutes, how many footballers ratified the corresponding agreement.
