September 12th is being seen as the possible date for the start of the 2020/21 season.
It is reported that a meeting was held Monday evening and unanimously agreed on September 12th to launch the new season, as in the summer of 2021 it will be played “Euro 2020”, delayed due to COVID-19.
Clubs have given the green light, and it will be discussed with UEFA.
The current season will end at the end of July later on, clubs that are not in the League Champions or Europe League, will free footballers, to resume preparations later in mid-August for the new season.
