Trade and Industry Minister Vesel Krasniqi said news of allowing weddings is dezinforms. He said they're working on it, but there's still no decision.
“no weddings allowed, this is disinfectant. We're working on this right, but there's no decision. Today, at the Government meeting, no decision has been made on this issue”, he told Kloncosova.
But Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri for the Express has confirmed that weddings have been allowed.
“can confirm that by July 1st, the decision has been made to open all restaurants for hosting weddings”, Tahiri said.
And the chief executive, Avdullah Hoti, said these decisions are in the context of opening the economy, but in the long run people's health should be taken into account.
Taking all these decisions, Health Minister Armen Zemaj said it was made with the recommendation of health experts.
But he stressed that if there is a new epidemiology situation, rigorous measures will be returned.
If the cases cannot be monitored during the following week and there is a new epidemiology situation in Kosovo, the recommendation is the return of rigorous measures”, he said.
The Kosovo government has also made a decision to open Pristina International Airport.
Flights for and from Pristina had been banned in mid-March when the coronavirus broke out.
Minister Zemaj has said the proposal was made after recommendations by the National Public Health Institute in Kosovo. He has added that if the cases cannot be monitored during the following week and there is a new epidemiology situation in Kosovo, the recommendation is the return of rigorous measures.
