Costnet's message: I thank Kosovars for showing their grief over George Floyd's death. America will rise stronger.

Ambassador of the United States Philip Costnett has thanked citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who have expressed their concerns and condolences in the case of the death of close American George Floyd, which sparked tremendous reactions and violence on the streets of America. I want to thank those Kosovo citizens who have expressed their condolences and sorrow over George Floyd's death. Federal government, as well as federal and local state authorities and the American people are deeply committed to justice for Mr. Floyd and his family”, Costnet said.
Cosnet has also recalled the words of President Trump, who described George Floyd's death as a serious tragedy that should never have happened.
President Trump's „George Floyd's death on the streets of Minneapolis was a tragedy that should never have happened. It has filled Americans around the country with feelings of horror, anger and grief”... Prosecutors have taken quick steps to establish the prosecution, fully respecting a fair process for all involved in the case”, has added Kosnett away in a message published on the embassy's official page.
Consettes believe that the United States will overcome such a terrible moment and that it will become even more committed to fulfilling the promise of history to fulfill equal rights for all citizens. The American diplomat has said they want the same for Kosovo citizens.
As American and human, I share Mr. Floyd and I watched the events that followed in the streets of American cities with deep concern. As we continue to take advantage of discrimination in American life and justice, objects like the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and Heritage Museum (https://museummorial.ey.org/mmorial) help us to examine the past in a sincere manner and double our determination to enable justice in the present. I believe America will emerge from this most powerful and even more devoted moment to finding its way forward to fulfilling the historic promise of equal rights and equal justice for all citizens. This will require co-ordinated action by the government and citizens, with the help of free press. The same thing we want for Kosovo” is over, Costnett.
