Coronervirus has touched daily life worldwide, leaving no room for him. In some countries, the virus has created deep political crises, since in some countries governments have decided to give scientists greater space to keep their citizens informed at the time when measures were being taken to prevent the spread of the crown virus. But until the vaccine is discovered, many politicians are concerned that there could be mass exits and crowds of citizens in public spaces for different purposes, thus challenging states that had planned to hold elections this year. Although in some countries it may go through the electoral process, others like Poland are finding it difficult to secure and free elections when the ballot boxes are placed in various public buildings.
As a result, many states have postponed elections or cancelled them for fear that public health could be put at risk, but there are countries that have been curbed for pure political reasons and purposes. According to a research by the International Institute for Democracy and Elexoral Assistance, at least 56 states have postponed national or regional elections due to the virus's pandemic. The following are all states that have postponed the voting process, and the implications of the decision on some of the key states around the world.

The Effect on American President

The United States of America is at the height of this year's presidential campaign. Although the date of the final election day has not yet been changed on November 3, 2020, preliminary elections in several US states and territories have been postponed why they were held through the postal vote. And at this time there are clashes between the opposition Democrats and the ruling Republicans for the timing of elections in certain territories, especially those that are critical to ensure as many electorates at the Elexoral College, whose number also determines the president's name for the upcoming mandate at the White House.

And there are countries, like Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Wyoming Guam and Puerto Rico, which have postponed the election. The United States has faced the largest coronary crisis in recent months.

Serbia towards Election Without Freedom of Press

Chileans were protesting in the streets for months to come to referendum on the new Constitution, but the pandemic has held up protest hopes. The referendum, which was supposed to be voted in last November, was scheduled to be held on April 26th, but has already been postponed for October 25th due to the coronary.

Serbia was forced to postpone the April 26th elections on 21st. The Balkan state has confirmed ten thousand cases of virus spread in this country. The first case was confirmed on March 6th, but in time, official Belgrade announced that the Serbian state had higher levels of cases compared to neighbouring countries. President Aleksandar Vuciq controls most media and portals in this country and is accused of suppressing freedom of expression. He is expected to win the election. He has even accused Europe of having “no solidarity exists in Europe”.

Elections have also been postponed in Spain. The local governments of Galicia and Bask region have postponed the elections due to the Coronavirus. Spain has had one of the biggest health crises in Europe because of the Coronobrus. Spain has only started easing measures expected to be held in June.

The elections have also been postponed in the Dominican Republic, which was supposed to be held on 17 May, but are expected to be organised on 5 July after consulting 22 political parties in the country. The country was also facing trouble because of the use of the new electronic voting system. There have also been massive protests against the political elite in power.

War and a Health Crisis

In early May, Syria's 2011 civil war president, Bashar Al-Assad, issued a decree postponing parliamentary elections for the second time, on July 19th. And the decree stated that the verdict was part of “precautionary measures” in the fight against the Coronobrus. At first thought, in the turbulent Middle Eastern country, elections were held on May 20th. But then came the attitude for postponement for another date.
