The coach of Sampdoria, Claudio Ranier, is reported to have had to interrupt his final training session because of a heated conflict between Lorenzo Tonell and Gasston Ramirez.

The coach had to suspend activities due to tension between the two players, the news reads.

Ramirez and Tonell allegedly debated during a match, and the incident escalated to a point where Ranier could not continue the session.

SAMPdoria is one of the first teams to return to action when Serie A returns and is preparing to face Inter at 20:45 on Sunday.

Both Tonell and Ramirez would normally be in question for a place in the launch formation, but recent findings could lead to penalties from the club.
