Christian Coleman was suspended independently by AIU, the World Athletics Antidoping Agency.
The American, in 1996's birthday, is the world champion in power in 100 meters after winning the title in Doha last year.
The sponsor did not undergo a surprise antidoping raid on December 9th, 2019, claiming he had left to do shopping from his apartment and that he was only a few minutes away anyway.
Coleman has complained, among other things, that he has not even been notified by the phone for control; only the following day had he learned about the arrival of commissioners.
In reality, the sponsor was pardoned once a year ago, and along with that of December, he had been absent in three raids in the past 12 months. Therefore, the agency has temporarily verified “from participation in any kind of competition or activity”.
