So has the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora announced through an announcement.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo has reached agreement tonight with Croatian and Montenegrin authorities to allow the passage of the bus to which more than ten Kosovo citizens are located, launched a few days ago by Italy”, the MPJD report said.
This is the Ministry's full announcement:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo has reached agreement tonight with Croatian and Montenegrin authorities to allow the passage of the bus to which more than ten Kosovo citizens are located a few days ago from Italy.
The agency, which has organised the trip, was launched from Italy towards Kosovo without asking permission from the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and not knowing the measures that are in force in the countries through which it was planning to pass the transit.
The bus has been banned by Croatian authorities, because some of the travelers did not own regular documentation (transit or Schengen visit), and it has also been announced that Montenegro has not opened borders with Italy (from which they were started), because this country is still considered a hearth of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore, through its diplomatic channels, has managed to ensure the launch of Kosovo citizens trapped on the border between Croatia and Slovenia for more than 30 hours.
We invite all of our fellow countrymen to contact the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kosovo before moving to their homeland, as many states, due to the pandemic, still have some measures that must be met during the transition crossing.
