One of the largest Turkish teams, Besiktas, has confirmed that club president Ahmet Nuri Cebi has been diagnosed with coronarys. The Turkish football elite club has reported that in tests that have been subjected to teams and all club members, eight have proved positive.
One of them is reportedly a football player. On Friday, two other corruption cases were reported at the club, sending the total number to ten.
On Wednesday, May 13th, tests for COVID-19 have been done to all footballers, technical staff and club members. Eight results have been positive. They have been in quarantine as the medical protocol requires, while Turkey's Superliga will resume on June 12th.
