After a year, the Special Prosecutor has filed charges against them after allegedly misusing their official position and taking bribes.
According to the indictment, which has provided T7, border officers on this side are involved in criminal acts.
The prosecution organ also suspects that animals, alcohol, wood drugs, food and goods have been smuggled through alternative roads from Serbia to Kosovo.
Witnesses have told before investigators about how smuggling has developed.
Another witness has shown investigative money about the price of introducing a truck illegally into Kosovo.
The money of smugglers who had bribed certain persons to enable them not to pay customs for imported goods had a certain location where they handed out the tools.
The other prosecutor's collaborator has admitted that they have taken money from smugglers.
Another collaborative witness who has been police officials has claimed smugglers have been linked to the Serbian secret service BIA.
Meanwhile, many police officials who had been watching have denied having co-operated with smugglers, saying they were unaware of this.
Witnesses have stated in their statements that illegally introduced animals in Kosovo were scattered throughout Kosovo
According to the special prosecutor's indictment, the wiretapping confirms that these police officials have been involved in smuggling after allowing goods to enter Kosovo from illegal ways.
So Albanian pet traders bought animals in Serbia and then illegally introduced them to Serbian merchants in Kosovo.
