Renowned Serbian tennis involvement confirmed for Kosovo's lobby

Serbia is using tennis player Novak Djokovic to lobby the state to attract recognition of Kosovo's independence.

Once again, the dirty policies of northern neighbours, using the sport for their political interests, writes Indexline.

Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has confirmed this, proving that he has included him in his diplomatic missions.

“Novak has always asked what we can do and was happy for any withdrawal of the recognition of Kosovo“, Dacic said.

A lot of people asked me about it. I called to send them an autograph or a photo with him“, the Serbian foreign minister stated.

Djokovic is the best-known Serbian athlete until his background is from northern Kosovo.
