The Agriculture Directorate in the Pristina municipality has seen farmers share 1m euros in subsidies for this year, but these vehicles are not divided due to Coronavirus's pandemic.
But pandemic has largely damaged farmers. They have had considerable damage to the production of agricultural crops for spring sowing.
Farmers have been unable to crack products due to the failure of city markets, where farmers have not been able to crack out on agricultural products and have suffered serious losses
In an interview for Online Economy, Hamdi Dervisi, official at the Agriculture Directorate, has said the 2020 budget project is meant to be over 1m euros for farmers.
We have helped them in the past, but now with the 2020 budget project, over 1m euros per farmer are raised. This money has not yet been divided because of pandemic, Coronavirus. Pandemia has caused a lack of agricultural products on the market”, he added.
Among other things, Dervis explained the way the application is applied to farmers who have to work their agricultural surfaces. Dervisi said that so far over 700 farmers have applied.
To equip with certificates and monitoring documentation farmers must apply in order to have free movement for agricultural land processing, Dervis added.
Pandemia on both any economic soil and the soil of agriculture has had a very negative impact on farmers in the development of agricultural crops for spring sowing.
According to him, farmers have not even been able to move from village to city to supply crops such as seeds, fertilizers.
He said farmers are not involved in the emergency package the government has shared for most businesses, since the case will cause major losses in agricultural cultures.

“The farmers have been unable to crack products due to the failure of the city's markets, where farmers could not crack out on agricultural products and have suffered huge losses”.
Subsequently, farmers have not been able to move from village to city to supply crops, such as seeds, artificial waste, chemical preparations for agricultural cultures. Pandemia is having a huge impact because we will have smaller crops. Farmers are not involved in the emergency package, with which there will be huge losses and there will be a lack of agricultural products on the market”, Dervis added.
