Kosovo police intervened at a mosque in Kacanik where Bayram Prayer is being prayed

Despite the decision of the Kosovo Islamic Community and recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo for the Fiter Bajrami Prayer not to be forgiven in the mosque, it seems that not everyone respected the decision. At least BIK's decision was not respected in the village of Bicec in Kacanik. There between 20 and 30 Muslim believers, along with the imam, offered the prayer of Bajram at the village mosque.
To join the prayer at the mosque, its residents tried to enter, but the same were prevented by Kosovo police.
This has been confirmed by police spokesman for Ferizaj's region Agim Gashi, who said believers were facing the mosque during a police raid on that section, but those who had only begun forgiveness did not stumble.
“YO, can confirm that in the Biccec village mosque during the raid, police have encountered in 20, 30 people of the village who have been praying the Bajram prayer. There were other people who came next, but the police did not allow them to enter the mosque. The people who were in the mosque were not hindered but would be taken into account. Of course, they were also the imam of the village”, Gashi said.
We remember that with BIK's decision, all mosques in Kosovo were closed on March 16th, and because of the situation created by COVIID-19, they did not open today for Fiter Bajram, so the prayer was not forgiven at the mosque.
