Last night, Australia's national public television network, SBSBAR joined music fans in honour of the world's largest live music event with <x0 Eurovision 2020: Big Night In” organised by Myf Warhurst and Joel Kreasey.
The show, which was performed instead of the grand finale of the anticipated competition, was held as the 65th edition of “Eurovision”, was broadcast on YouTube channel in over 40 states.
After the Australians gave their vote, the results of this music competition were discovered over three hours to crown a virtual winner.
Da '%i & Gamagniı from Iceland were the winners of “Eurovision 2020: Big Night In” with their song “Think About Words”.
The song had become viral since the selection to Eurovision, gathering more than seven million views on YouTube platform.
Russian band “Litle Big” took second place with their “Uno”, while Lithuania was ranked third with “On Fire” performed by The Roop.
Renowned Australian singer Alfie Arcuri performed an amazing acoustic performance of “Running”, which was to be performed by Sandro in Rotterdam this month.
But the final performance of the evening was reserved for Lars Erickssong (Will Ferrel) and Sigrat Ericksdottir (Rachel McAdams) with their music video for Volcano Man.
SBS introduced the world to an exclusive piece of comedy Story of the Fire Sagaʹ from Will hell.
Meanwhile, fans from around the world formed a large virtual choir and sang together the song “Whatàs Ander Star” of Johnny Logan.
The special guests were Sweden's Mans Zelmerlow, who performed his winning song in 2015, “Heroes”, later Marija Serifov, 2007 winner of Serbia and Netta -- the winner of Israel in 2018.
Albania was introduced in virtual format by artist Arilena Ara with its special project “Fall From the Sky”.
The host of this edition of Eurovision was NikkieTutor, alongside the fashioners: Edsilia Romble and Chantal Janzen and Jan Smitt.
