The property of the 35-year-old has increased for nearly 42m euros by contrast to last year, amounting to a total of 253m euros.

He's the richest person in the 32-year history of this list.

Golfer Rory McIrroy, who has a fortune of about 192m euros, is just another sports star on Britain's top 1,000 richest people list.

Meanwhile, on the “list of rich young people” -- the list made up of those up to the age of 30 -- the athletes dominate. 18 of the 50 countries on this list occupied by athletes.

Gareth Bale of Real Madrid, with a fortune of about 129m euros, is on this list, and there is the world's heavy-weight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, who has a fortune of over 120m euros.
