The AKS says the average salary increased to enormous proportions from 2012: Today Kosovars receive 602 euros per month

According to the AKS, this publication contains data on the average gross and net wage, according to sectors and economic activities in the Public Sector (Administration), Private Sector and Public Enterprises in Kosovo.
As AKS has announced, in 2012 the average gross wage in Kosovo was 431 euros, until 2019 was 602 Euro, an increase of 171 euros, or 39.7%. While net wage of 384 Euros, as it was in 2012, has risen to 537 Euros in 2019, with an increase of 153 Euros, or 39.8%.
The average gross public sector salary in 2012, was 407 Euros, until in 2019 it was 584 Euro, rising for 177 Euro, or 43.5%. Until the net wage of 353 euros, as it was in 2012, rose to 519 Euros, a total of 166 Euros, or 47.0%.
The Private Sector, in 2012, had an average gross salary of 367 Euros, while in 2019 it had 420 Euros, an increase of 53 Euros, or 14.4%. Until the net wage of 333 euros, as it was in 2012, rose to 380 Euros in 2019, an increase of 47 Euros, or 14.1%.
The average gross salary in the 2004 Public Enterprises Sector was 518 euros, until in 2019 it was 801 Euros, an increase of 283 euros, or 54.6%. Until the net wage of 465 euros, as it was in 2012, rose to 707 Euros in 2019, a total of 242 Euros, or 52.0%.
The AKS has also announced that the level of higher wages in Kosovo was in the Public Enterprises Sector, while with lower salaries was the private sector.
The average gross wage in 2019, according to economic activities, was higher: supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (923). Euro); information and communication (797 Euro); and fuel and stonebreaker (657 Euro). Until, the lowest wage was to accommodate and service activities with food (256 euros).
The average net salary in 2019, according to economic activities, has the same ranking as higher: supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (811 Euro); information and communication (704) Euro); fireman and stoner (584 Euro). While the lowest salary was in accommodation and food service activity (237 Euro)”, the ASS report said.
