Wessel said that in this holy month of Ramadan, Muslim believers must be united with spirit because of their inability to be together physically as a result of the pandemic situation.
He appreciated the help BIK is providing to families in need at this time of pandemic.
All of our faithful, congratulations on the sacred month of Ramadan, the month of solidarity. We will be all together, even though physically it will be a little difficult under these circumstances to be close to each other. I thank BIK, the mufti, and all those who are doing extraordinary work. There are about 25 thousand aides only to families that have been distributed during this time of BIK's pandemic, encourages charities to increase solidarity to be together, we will overcome this situation because we have God with us”, Wessel said.
While the chairman of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), mufti Naim Ternava, said that, among other things, they have discussed the situation created with COVID-19.
“With the chairman, we discussed several other topics involving the solidarity this holy month contains, but also the state of pandemic in Kosovo and the opportunity to help all in need”, Trnava said.
