Interior Minister Jedal Svecla's task assistant has said that Northern Mitrovica and Zvecan have been introduced to quarantine due to 16 cases confirmed by coronary.
Through a Facebook post, Svecla has said the measures were taken by Health Minister Arben Vitita, but without showing whether quarantine has been recommended by Kosovo institutions or IKSHP.
The northern Mitrovica municipality and the municipality of Zvecan are located in quarantine due to 16 cases tested positively with Covid-19. According to health experts' assessments and requirements, Mr. Health Minister, Mr. Arben Vitita, in co-ordination with all institutions, has made the right decisions and measures that are always”, Svecla wrote.
Svechla, among other things, has said she is in constant contact with the police director, as well as with KFOR.

He is in constant contact and communication with the two mayors and responsible authorities. I, as the task of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, and the Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Rashit Qalaj, we are in full co-ordination with Minister Vitita. Co-operation with KFOR is also permanent and extremely good. All the responsible institutions are conveying the situation indefinitely so that their response is consistent.
