Director General The PDK, Blerand Stavileci, has said that at this time, the Kosovo government has been very late with measures to help private sector employees and businesses, and that according to him would harm the country's economy.
A responsible prime minister would have to leave every day on the ground, in every municipality and in every corner of Kosovo to be close to the workers and producers, and his ministers would go out every day to present measures for each category. Not that they are not showing the state maturity and pragmatic professionalism, but they have also lost the human sense of what was so much referred to until 50 days ago, which they despised so much for just one month at this time, inferno”, estimates Stavileci through an analysis that he published on his Facebook page.
Stavileci has compared the data of countries in the region where Kosovo turns out to be the last in line in terms of measures in the economy at the time of pandemic.
Blerand Stavilec's complete statement:
COMM LAST SOVA WRITER IN MASAV PACON E EMERGEENT E FOR ECONOMIA
The economy, businesses and workers of all companies in all sectors must be absolute priorities, in parallel with care and other health measures.
The predictions are dark. Many projections experts eminens predict new economic realities similar to those of last century's Great Depression. So much worse than the global financial crisis just over a decade ago.
Nobelist Paul Krugman says the main lesson from all economic crises is that state intervention remains key to reducing negative effects and cutting the recovery period.
The government Kurti, now self-designed, has long warned economic measures and they are flawed.
Instead of working every day for the state economy and for every worker in our country, it is not being shown at the level of proper responsibility to avoid the economic consequences the pandemic is causing.
The two main economy and finance ministers have done only two actions so far: one has introduced a delayed and flawed package, while the other has made a decision that endangers the future of the thousands of relevant producers of our country.
A responsible prime minister would have to appear every day on the ground, in every municipality and in every corner of Kosovo, to be close to workers and producers, and his ministers would go out every day to present measures for each category. They are not showing the state maturity and pragmatic professionalism, but they have also lost the human sense of what was so referred to until 50 days ago, and they despised it so much for just one month in this pandemic time.
A government that thinks of the people, not of the anger and political crises provoked by itself for party and individual interests, would have to be engaged every day in each category. For private sector workers, for public sector workers, for police and army, for teachers, teachers and professors, for doctors and health personnel, for pensioners, for families in need, for families of martyrs and disabled persons, for disabled persons, for producers, for businessmen, for media and journalists, for self-employers, for farmers and agrarians, for athletes and artists, for taxiists, for faryrs, for waiters, for textmakers. So for each single category. They would feel much more secure, because this pandemic can certainly escape with personal self - discipline and care, but the bread and work can't get out without the merit of their government, to which they pay their taxes and contributions.
On the other hand, we can see countries in the region how so far, in dealing with the situation created by the coronavirus, they have approved budgets many times larger. For example, Serbia 5.1 billion euros (46% of the state's annual budget), Croatia 3.9 billion euros (20.5%), Slovenia 3 billion euros (28%), Bulgaria 5 billion euros (22.2%), Romania 10 billion euros (28.8%).
Our governments, meanwhile, have both delayed the aid, and have failed it, excluding many important categories of our society, with only 170m euros planned, making up only 7.16% of our state budget for 2020. Even if they were collaborators, they could seek direct financial assistance from the United States, not ironicly the opposite, even those we had to lose for their evil policies in relation to our main political, economic, and military partners.
In order to increase the situation for the citizens of our country, this Government was not satisfied even after the Constitutional Court's act of judgment to go towards another constitutional offense.
She is trying to push ahead with administrative decisions an economic package without passing it to our Republic's Parliament.
Article 65 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo clearly stipulates that the only institution that approves the budget, or restructuring it, is the Assembly of Kosovo.
Similarly, the Government's proposal conflicts with the Law on Budget, which itself was voted into a provisional parliamentary session two weeks ago, as well as with the Public Finance Management Law.
We, a few days ago, heard the self-designed prime minister openly declare he is trying to avoid the Kosovo Assembly, because, according to him, the Assembly causes the new “kocre of”.
Now the exact opposite would have to happen. To be called as soon as an extraordinary parliamentary session, where restructuring of the 2020 budget would be discussed, to enable necessary measures to save Kosovo's economy from collapse.
This is the most sacred mission each of us must have. And, first and foremost, this belongs to the Government.
Citizens should not be left in the mercy of fate, much less the human sense of those who desert and flee from their constitutional and legal responsibilities.
Any delay today will last the wound recovery tomorrow.
Therefore, let us not remain behind and last, as with the budget for emergency measures!
If we're saying yes to our health, Panic No, the economy of this time is worth supporting yes, Neglizasia No. Great support, for it is both retarded and flawed and small.
