Previous studies have shown that apology prevents various cancers from infecting other healthy cells.
The team from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, says that this drug can also prevent the spread of coronary through the body.
Apthammer was discovered by a team led by Dr Paula Bates, a medical professor at Louisville University.
“Like many scientists, once I heard about the choreography, I wanted to help and began to think about how my field of research could be crossed with the quest for the coronary,” she said in a statement.
Bates plans to work at the Regional Biocontrol Laboratory of Louisville University, one of only 12 regional labs and two national biocontrol labs in the US.
Bates said she tested the medicine in her cells, but hopes she will soon start clinical studies with people.
“Zaconally, developing a drug from the first takes many years, then moves to testing stage in animals to prove whether it's safe or not and eventually proves to people to see if it works properly. So this process takes many years.
The appamer has already been tested on humans, in cancer patients and we're planning to use it to patients with Covid-19, and we hope to do it as soon as we can, says the doctor.
The doctor hopes her team will get the approval of the St. BA to initiate judgments.
Because a vaccine can be put into the market for 12-18 months, she suggests treatment with this drug will help slow the spread.
“There is evidence that this drug can reduce the spread of the coronary and that everyone can take advantage of it”, concludes Dr Paula Bates.
