Singer Shkelzen Jetishi along with his son Korabbin and the orchestra Vllasinim Bujowiu today offered a free concert for the inhabitants of Gjakova as a sign of support these days of quarantine.
But the epilogue was not expected.
Police have intervened to interrupt the concert because of a lack of distance from residents and a group that began to gather under residences to follow Xen closely.
The singer himself said he was prepared to sing any longer, but as he put it, direction came from Pristina, not Gjakova, meaning the central authorities in Pristina.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been extremely strict by refusing permission for such concerts as take place almost every day in Tirana as yesterday, Sabri Feyzullah's concert was held at Pristina Stadium for this very reason, to prevent any kind of collection of residents who enjoyed performance from the screen.
