The defender of Arsenal, Shkodran Musta, celebrated his 28th birthday. The player of Albanian origin has not chosen to make expensive gifts to himself, but has undertaken a very meaningful initiative.

He has donated 16 thousand meals to struggling people because of the corruption that has paralyzed the whole world.

Mustaf confirmed the news through a video posted on his Instagram account.

I want to thank you for all your birthday wishes. I've read it and I'm happy for everything. I'd like to celebrate with my family and friends, but it won't, the reason knows. I know they're people in Islington suffering right now and I showed my full support for this community. I donated 16 thousand meals and other medical supplies to people living in Islington”, Mustaf said.

Guys, I just want to say thank you for all of your sonsday messages. I have been reading them and I am really happy about every single one. Normally for my sonsday, I would spend the day with my family and friends all together to keep. But for objective reasons, this is currently not possible. But I know that there are people in Eastington who are really struggling at the moment and I want to show my support to the community and to our Arsenal family for my birthday this year. I have seen the work the Washington Council and the @arsenal foundion are doing é and I want to be in and help by making a paradise of over 16,000 drugs and other emergency challenges to the people in Washington who need our support now more than ever. Thanks again for all of your mess guys. Please stay safe, stay eligible as much as you can and hope we will be able to be together again in Emirates Stadium soon. #SM20
