Sampdoria coach Claudio Ranier has not welcomed the idea that before Serie A, the players stay isolated in a hotel for training and getting ready to resume the championship.
“The players have been locked up in their coronavirus houses for nearly two months and have started speaking to the walls. Many of them are alone, without their family, have already been identified. And now tell me to keep them together again... Absurd”, Randier told “Crrier Della Sera”.
“The idea is to keep them assembled even before the games until the end of the season. So closed for another three months. Impossible. The safest place today is home. Why go to the hotel and get in touch with other people there?”, Randier said.
Furthermore, the Sampdoria coach added: “We can't put them in jail, because instead of doing coach and psychologist, I'm gonna start being a psychiatrist.”.
