Investigations begin of possible violations at MSH tenders during pandemic

The chairman of the Kosovo Competition Authority, Valon Prestreshi, has indicated that they have launched investigations of public prosecutorial procedures during confronting the former-19 Prestreshi pandemic, has said that despite the difficulties caused by Coronavirus, he has authorised the Division of Forbidden Agreements to begin preliminary reviews with [the] ministry cases.
The chairman of the Kosovo Competition Authority, Valon Prestreshi, has indicated that investigations have been launched for violations of public prosecutorial procedures during confronting the David-19 pandemic.
Prestreshi has said that despite the difficulties caused by Coronavirus, he has authorized the Division of Agreements Forbidden to begin preliminary reviews with health ministry cases.
The Competition Authority has welcomed the call of the Health Ministry for our institution and other relevant institutions to investigate any possible violations in the public procurement procedures developed by this minister during the confronting of COVID-19”.
“The AKK wants to reiterate that despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic COVID-19, our institution is continuing to be at the top of the tasks they are due and that it will authorize the division of the Agreements forbidden to begin preliminary reviews regarding MS” cases, Prestri told EO.
He further stressed that if any cases are identified, investigative procedures of tender offenders will begin.
I have authorized the division of a Banned Agreement or a Cavalry Division to start a preliminary review and go to the Ministry of Health and ask the relevant officials what the issue is and the problem is and start collecting data provided we build the case”.
