Haziri: Government decision affecting Kosovo's entire territory, no constitutional spirit

Haziri at RTV Dukaagjini has said the Gjilan municipality has taken a large number of measures today that the government has taken into effect.

However, Haziri says the government's current decision is beyond authorisations, and the constitutional spirit is lacking in it.

Kosovo's “Assembly is the one that proclaims the situation that applies to the entire territory of Kosovo”.

Haziri says that cities differ from the emergency ladder and cannot be treated equally.

The “Law applies only to neighbourhoods, villages or urban parts where the infection could potentially increase. Decisions for the entire territory of Kosovo can only take over the Kosovo Assembly and representatives of the people”.

Haziri says the government is using state-of-the-art mechanisms.
