Coronavirus' Pandemia has brought the world to its knees, with media all over the globe still running into normal football championships. These are places such as Belarus, Nicaragua, Tajikistan, and Burundi.
In the African country (Burund) season, it will close within May, but the calendar has changed, but not because of COVID-19.
The president of the Burund Football Federation, Reverin Nukuriyo, announced the postponement of several meetings, as rallies will be organised in the football stadiums ahead of the May 20th presidential and legislative elections.
The Kurkiyo made no reference to the health risks associated with the continuation of the football season, just recalling the government- recommended preventive measures: “matoni temperature and spray your hands with a disinfectant at the entrance of the stadiums. ” So far, 27 out of 30 weeks of total championships have been held in Burundi.
Meanwhile, in Belarus, where the championship follows the calendar year, has been reached at the 4th week (on Thursday two round meetings of 5th) in Tajikistan the third week will take place next weekend, while the tour “Clausura”, under way in Nicaragua, is in 16th week.
