U n EFA makes the decision: Positions in Europe divided on sports merits

U n EFA has decided that if the top of the leagues in Europe are unable to complete the season due to the coronary crisis, then the countries for the next European seasonal cups will be assigned based on sports merits, writes the “The Times”.

That means points won't be taken into account. In this case, the Champions League from Premier League will go Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester City and Chelsea.

Manchester United and Wolverhampton would play in the League of Europe, while the Arsenal of Tottenham would remain outside European cups.

The decision was reportedly made in UEFA Executive Committee video conference. UEFA is expected to leave soon with the official announcement.
