The Argentinian star confirmed through the Instagram on March 21st that he and his girlfriend Oriana Sabatin both proved positive in the Coronavirus test. According to the Spanish medium El ChiringuitoDybala has done four tests over the past six weeks and was most recently positive.
This means that he has been unable to remove infectious disease and may require more intensive treatment.
He won't be the only player currently affected by the virus, since Atalanta's goalkeeper Marco Sportillo is also positive.
The next possible step would be a blood test to see if Dubala developed antibodies, and if so, how many of them.
Otherwise, Argentina's return to relaunching training on May 4th seems currently impossible, as it would endanger itself and the team.
