Since the day of the football suspension, clubs lose 9 million pounds every week. This has put many of them in trouble, while some are at risk of bankruptcy, if this situation will preserve this “status quo” for a long time.

To cover expenses and avoid a financial collapse, the resolution of these clubs are banks. According to English media, Premier League teams have sought loans of up to 100 million pounds in order to obtain liquidity in this difficult period.
Meanwhile, the financial loss of the English football elite championships is estimated to have exceeded 150 million pounds. One more reason to resume and close the season as soon as possible.
