More than half the deaths are recorded in Italy, Spain and the US, according to a report released today by official sources. 4:30 p.m. GMT.
In total, a total of 90 938 deaths have been recorded in 1 534 426 cases, including 64 342 in Europe, the most affected continent by COVID-19.
With 1827 deaths, Italy is the world's largest death toll, followed by Spain by 158, U.S.A., 14830, and France 10 869.
