Tottenham withdraws from the decision to cut staff wages, following criticism from fans.
The club in a communiqué on Monday has announced that all staff will receive a full salary in April and May. The 20 percent reduction will apply only to board members.
Tottenham had earlier decided to reduce wages by 20 percent for 550 staff members, thus using the government's scheme for protection of working time in the pandemic. But this decision was followed with widespread criticism, prompting club leaders to change their decision.
Liverpool had taken a similar step a few days earlier. He had originally decided to stop part of the staff, but he changed his decision.
