Doet Bislimi, deputy head of youth The PDK, following a conversation held with several young Presevo people, has been informed that there is a lack of food and essential medicines.
He, through the social network, has invited Government to contact Albanian and institutional representatives there as soon as possible and to discuss their situation.
Bislimli has even earlier called for the Government of Kosovo to think about the Albanians in the Valley, even demanding that I go there as a volunteer doctor.
Here's Mr. Bislimi:
I just had a conversation with some young people, wonderful students, from Presevo. We discussed pandemic and were more informed about the current situation in Presevo. Many citizens there have felt ignored and lack of essential food and medicine.
Even before, I have called on our Government to think about the Albanians in the Valley. I, as a young doctor, have asked the Government to ask that me and my colleagues be volunteer doctors there.
While our institutions accepted 1,000 tests from Serbia, why not allow us to contribute to our brothers in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja?!
Terrible to accept tests from Serbia, and allow Albanians there to have a lack of tests and neglect on our part. The government must contact Albanian and institutional representatives there and discuss the health and welfare of our countrymen.
In this common challenge, only together can we succeed.
