Beke Berisha: We agreed in principle to establish government with LDK

AAK MP Beque Berisha in an interview for Online Economy has confirmed that they have basically agreed with the LDK to establish the new government. According to him, the AAK will be part of a government that does not dialogue for division or exchange of territories. According to Berisha, it is important to include building the Dukagjin Highway.

We've agreed in principle, we haven't entered the divisions or conditions, but also the LDK, but even all the parties that are going to make this coalition, we've agreed that people are involved in this government not to have the indictment first, then there are some of our projects that we want to include in the budget when it is re-organized. At this time of pandemic, this government is necessary to overcome this situation because we have a government that has no competence either to reshuffle the budget or the division of the means for COVID-19, and for this situation that is going on with”, Berisha said.

He has said the AAK will not provide conditions because the important thing is to form a legitimate government.

“We're not going to make the conditions, we've all agreed, but the important thing is to make it a legitimate government, overcome this situation by some means and end this” situation, Berisha said.

Berisha has said that because of the pandemic, they have asked the Steering Council to give their opinion for or against the coalition by telephone.

“In the absence of organising any meeting of the Steering Council, we have been invited by telephone to tell us whether they are pro or contrary to this coalition, and I find that most are pro-entering this coalition because it is the difficult situation”, Berisha told Online Economy.

Berisha has said he will demand that if they join the coalition the Dukagjin highway is included.

We're not going to those details. As for the Dukagjin Highway project, that's our permanent request and it's been our electorate promise and we believe we'll include it in the budget and we'll implement it. We do not make conditions now for the timing of the event, the important thing is to enter the budget. We don't burden the budget for now because once we're focused on overcoming this” situation, he told Online Economy.

He has said they will not participate in any government which dialogue on division or exchange of territories.

“Dialog must start and reorganize, so this has been a request of Americans, it's good that America is involved in dialogue. We do not participate in any government that goes to those adventures that have been mentioned so far, where it comes to division or exchange of territories, but we will be in a government that preserves Kosovo, its territory and those principles that we have always spoken to”, he said.

He has said that in a few days of government, Albin Kurti has exposed himself.

“There have been various reactions, but this has been a wives who made this government, especially Albin Kurti, who has been laboring us for 20 years with the National Union and dropping trucks with goods from Serbia, then remove the tax and no longer mention of the National Union, took those tests that are in a very small amount, which Montenegro didn't accept from Serbia, and that's affected us all very much, and it's kind of an amnest done in the international newspaper, because Serbia is not a genocide, but it's done a good gesture of bringing Kosovo 1000 tests that didn't accept any of them, that's the least of the government that's got us so tireder national positions. Berisha has indicated that Kurti has removed the tax in the worst form without any countervalue.

As for the division of ministerial posts, Berisha has said that this has not been discussed, but that dictatorships will be proportionally divided with the number of deputies they have in the Assembly.

Otherwise, LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa has said today that they have yet to accept letter from President Hashim Thaci about the mandate issue of forming the new government.

Asked whether there could be a meeting in advance with President Thaci, Mustafa has said it is not up to him and that they are waiting for his call.

The Democratic League of Kosovo in sync with President Hashim Thaci has taken additional action Monday, in the function of forming a new government, part of which is not pre-priced to be the winning subject of the last elections, the Vetevendosje (LVV) Movement.

Thaci has warned that he will bypass Vetevendosje and thus, is expected to receive the mandate's name from the LDK.
