13m euros less from paying taxes to tax, the economy can save a “Marshallal plan”

Since confirming the first cases in Kosovo with Coronavirus and the interruption of many activities, the first damage to the local economy has been observed.

Although Kosovo authorities have not so far presented any concrete plans for the recovery of the economy, connoisseurs of this area, they say saving the economy can only make one plan-mask.

Kosovo Tax Administration Director (ATK), Ilir Murtezaj, has said in an interview for Online Economics that from the extension of the deadline for statements and taxes on the tax, the state budget has lost 13m euros.

But economics connoisseur Safet Gerjaliu has said Kosovo needs a plan to save its economy, a plan that was promoted days ago by the European Commission as well.

“You know that the pandemic effects will be huge, the economy will be destroyed, and in this direction economic recovery will be the priorities of European countries and beyond, and in this direction Kosovo should be part of such a” plan, Gerjaliu has said, reports EO.
