The economic situation of many Bundesliga and German second-class clubs is more dramatic than it has been shown so far.

“13 out of 36 professional clubs face bankruptcy this edition due to the pandemic of Coroanvirus”, this medium wrote.
Especially in Bundesligla 2 the situation is dramatic. It has been reported that seven clubs should declare bankruptcy in late May, if the championship doesn't continue by then, and if a fall of income from media partners is not paid in the German distribution league at clubs.
The last tranche from the current media contract should be paid in early May. Two other Bundesligla 2 teams will go bankrupt in June, if the payment is not realised.
According to Kicker, a Bundesliga club, it is also endangered and can pay off obligations only until May. Three other clubs will be endangered in June.
