Didier Decamps' team was recently named world champion, and clearly will be the top favourite for the European Championship to be played next year.
20 years ago, “Les Blues” were also the best in the world, until they played in Euro 2000 after winning the World Cup for the first time in 1998.
The team was full of legends like Dechamps, Robert Peares, Thierry Henry, Laurent Blanc, Marcel Desailly and Emmanuel Petit.
But the main man was Zinedine Zidane, the best French player of all time.
