U.S. President Donald Trump will activate the National Guard to help establish medical stations and distribute hundreds of tons of supplies to the three worst hit states by the Coronavirus explosion: California, New York and Washington.
At a media conference from the White House, Trump said the guard would be at the command of three governors whose states constitute 58 percent of the Corleone cases throughout the United States.
The state of New York has the largest number of Coronavirus infected: over 15,000.
The mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, has said that lack of medical supplies could emerge within days.
Some governors, including New York's Andrew Cuomo, have asked the White House to combine medical supplies security efforts, saying most leaders of 50 states are in a race against each other to buy what is available.
There are over 33,000 confirmed cases of Coronavirus infected people throughout the United States, while over 400 patients have lost their lives.
