Switzerland is officially the most expensive country in the world to live in, says a report in CEOWORLD magazine.

Following it is Norway, followed by: Iceland, Japan, Denmark, Bahamas, Luxembourg, Israel, Singapore, and South Korea.

CEOWORLD magazine bases its appreciation on some living expenses, including housing, clothing, food, internet, transportation, and eating abroad.

This data is then entered into an index using New York City's most expensive city in the world as a reference point.

New York has 100 points in the index.

As a result, a country with more than 100 points is more expensive than New York, while less signaling it is cheaper.

In the 132-seat list, Kosovo ranks 124th.

According to this list, the most affordable countries for living are: Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Syria, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tunisia/ REL.
