The first round of eliminations is set to be held on March 26th.
In the letter sent FIFA has expressed the position of ten ONMEBOL members: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Many players from South America play in Europe, where the coronary is continuing to spread.
